A Journey Into the Deep
Beneath the Surface: 25 Years of Exploration, Instruction & Underwater Imagery
Imagine hovering 300 feet below the surface, where light fades to darkness, time quickens, and every breath is measured. Now, try capturing a perfectly timed photo of a creature so camouflaged, you wouldn't even know it's watching you.
This is the intense, silent world that Dan calls home. As a professional instructor trainer, and underwater photographer for over 25 years, Dan thrives in the shadows—at his best when completely invisible— patiently observing and capturing marine life in its raw, undisturbed state.
As the Canadian manager with Scuba Diving International (SDI) and Technical Diving International (TDI), Dan has trained elite divers, and led expeditions to remote shipwrecks and extreme depths— bringing back stories and images from places few dare to go.
